Skyline Climate Solutions runs maintenance and emergency HVAC across New York City buildings, from pre-war co-ops to modern rentals. The problem was predictable: when a boiler failed or a compressor died, the calls came in waves, and one or two technicians could not answer them all.
Every unanswered call meant a tenant Googling the next HVAC company and booking them instead. Overnight, the team was losing meaningful revenue to businesses that simply picked up the phone faster.
What we deployed
We set up two automations that work together:
- AI voice agent for overflow - The AI picks up every call the office cannot reach, qualifies the issue, and books the earliest available service window on the real calendar.
- Instant text-back - If someone hangs up, they receive a text within two minutes with a direct booking link and the technician's availability.
The results
In the first month, Skyline recovered 71 percent of after-hours calls that previously went to voicemail. More than 40 of those turned into booked emergency service calls worth real revenue. The tenant never had to wait until morning, and the office never had to chase a lead.
Tenants used to hang up on voicemail. Now they get a text and a booked appointment before they can call anyone else.
